IMPORTANT
The safety cap (9) is fitted with a pressure relief
valve which opens automatically if a pressure of 6
bar is reached. Normally, however, the electrically
controlled and monitored heater will cut out before
the pressure gauge drops into the red area. If the
pressure gauge needle nevertheless shows red,
switch off the steamer and disconnect it from the
mains supply. If this happens, the device should be
returned to the manufacturer for inspection as a
safety precaution.
MAINTENANCE
The Electronic Steamer II is basically maintenance-
free. However, it must be descaled at regular inter-
vals. A control lamp (7) and acoustic signal will tell
you that the device needs descaling after about 50
hours of operation.
ATTENTION
The user manual for decalicifying is added to the
delimer. Do not switch on the steamer or use the
steam head during the descaling process. Once the
descaling and flushing operations have been comple-
ted, ensure that the drainage screw (12) on the
underside of the device is screwed tightly shut. Now
press the reset button (13) on the underside of the
device. This will reset the scale monitor.
Do not use cleaning products containing solvents to
clean the outer surfaces of the steamer.
