DESCRIPTION

Crono Spy is an electronic flow switch with integrated timer which enables automatic start-up of an
electric pump at set times, to automate the water reserve filling or draining operations (cisterns, tanks,
trays etc.).
The internal timer enables programming of two daily operation time bands during which the pump is
activated at regular time intervals to verify the presence of water on pump intake; if fluid is not present on
intake, the pump is stopped (after a settable time) to prevent damage. Otherwise, if water is available, the
electric pump is run until the liquid intake is interrupted (for example due to water running out on intake
or due to closure of the mechanical float downline) or until opening of the contact of an electric float
connected externally to the specific terminal. In any event the pump is always started up, even outside the
programmed times, whenever the internal valve of the device is opened by a spontaneous water flow.
CAUTION: at the end of the set time for operation, the pump continues to run until the recipient to
be filled is full (mechanical float closed), if the water on intake runs out or if the electric float trips.
