Common Problems
Power/Fault LED Indicator is not lit
• Check that all the DC connections are connected correctly.
• Check the tightness of the DC connection.
Note:
Make sure that your accessory outlet is "live". You may need to turn the
ignition key to the accessory position.
Power/Fault LED Indicator lights red
When the Power/Fault lED Indicator turns from blue (indicating the unit is
powered) to red, a fault condition is present and the unit will automatically
shut down. See the Protective Features Section of this Instruction Manual and
Common Power output Problems in the following section.
Common Power Output Problems
Battery voltage below 11.0 volts
Recharge battery or check DC power supply.
Equipment being operated draws too much power
Reduce load to maximum 10 watts. Although this unit has two outlets, some
devices can draw 10 watts from a single outlet. Connecting another device to
the second outlet in this case would create an overload condition and cause
the charger to shut down.
Charger in thermal shutdown condition
Allow charger to cool down. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the
load is no more than 10 watts for continuous operation.
