8 Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING

Risk of burns from hot coolant and hot surfaces.
• Switch off the coolant recirculator before starting maintenance, servicing, assembly,
disassembly and repair work.
• Allow the welding torches to cool down.
• Wear the correct protective gloves

The welding torches reach very high temperatures during welding.
• Allow the welding torches to cool down.
• Wear the correct protective gloves.
NOTICE
• The maintenance intervals given are standard values and refer to single-shift operation.
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Check the coolant hoses, seals, and connectors for damage or leaks and replace if
necessary.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Remove any adhering weld spatter.
• Ensure that all threaded fittings are tight.
8.1 Cable assembly
1 Unscrew the cable assembly on the machine side and bring it into a stretched position.
2 Unscrew nut and pull out liner or PA liner and replace it, if necessary.
3 Remove wear parts from the torch neck.
WARNING
Risk of injury
Serious injuries may be caused by parts swirling around.
• When cleaning the wire guide with compressed air, wear suitable protective clothing, in
particular safety goggles.
4 Clean wire conduit from both sides with compressed air.
5 Mount cleaned or replaced wear parts and liner or PA liner.
6 Connect cable assembly on the machine side to the wire feed unit.
