Description
The Threadlocker Kit is intended to reduce loosening
of fasteners due to shock, vibration, and dynamic load.
These instructions describe the installation of the new
components. New fasteners were intended to be
blackened as an indicator that the Shear 30T has
been retrofitted.

Tools Required

• Torque wrench (up to 35 ft-lbs)
• Hex driver (3/16" & 5/16")

Installing New Components
Before installing new components:
• Unplug electrical power
• Release hydraulic pressure
• Disconnect the hydraulic hose from cutting unit
1. Remove the 3 hex screws from the bottom of the
cassette (Fig. 1).
2. Apply Loctite
as shown in Fig. 2 and tighten them back to the
bottom of the cassette with 35 ft-lbs of torque.

3. Remove the screws for the rails (3) and the screw for
the cylinder frame (2) as shown in Fig. 3.
