THE MOTOR SHAFT IS A DELICATE PART AND DIFFICULT TO REPLACE.

6.4 Temperature probe assembly

It is done once the spindle is assembled.
An incorrect assembly could definitely damage the motor shaft.
Please follow carefully the next instructions:
a) First, the spindle protector must be assembled.
To assemble the spindle protector: (See fig 6.3.1)
1- Insert both protector holes in the viscosimeter supports.
2- Turn the protector clockwise.
b) Remove the «yellow cap» (Motor shaft protector).
c) Take the motor shaft and push upwards.
d) By keeping the shaft upwards, fit the spindle and then turn counter-clockwise.
(See fig 6.3.2)
e) Release the spindle.

6.5 Start measurement configuration

Once the spindle and the temperature probe are fitted:
Switch on the main switch. (On the rear part of the main unit).
2. Push «RUN» to begin measurement.
3. Pushe «RESET» to stop measurement.

Speed selection:

1. Push «SPEED».

4. Push «SPEED» to validate the entry and then exit.
Measure spindle selection:
1. Push «SPINDLE» key to select the spindle number which has been assembled.
2. Push «SPINDLE» successively till the display shows the spindle number used.
It's not necessary to validate any key.
