5 Operation

The control panel allows function selection and shows the distiller alarms status.
Once the unit is plugged in, put it on, by pressing the main switch. The unit goes to
stand by status (ON).
Note: If main switch is pushed consecutively with an interval of less than 3 seconds,
the unit could start in abnormal mode. So wait few seconds to restart the unit.
First the display shows the software version installed on the unit.
Wait until the display shows the «MAIN MENU» before to push any key.
On starting the unit for the first time, the water pump starts to work, automatically,
to fill the steam generator.
This operation usually takes near 40 seconds and it will stop, also automatically when
the steam generator is filled. At 20s the «STEAM» alarm sounds, but it will also stop
when the steam generator is filled.
If this operation is not finished after approx. 40 seconds, please check that the water
tank has some water (visual check on the right hand side level), also be sure that the
water has the suitable conductivity. (See 4.4)

5.1 Menu for function selection

All functions will be selected from the control panel. As a general rule, select a
function and point the function by the arrows and then press «ENTER».

5.1.1 Configuration menu:

From the «MAIN MENU» pressing the «CONF» key this menu is get. Use this menu
to configure some parameters:
• Date and time: Set date and time with keys «
TER».
• NaOH: Pump factor: Adjust the precision on the NaOH dispensing.
Range 1 to 5. Factory set at 3.
Boric: Pump factor: Adjust the precision on the Boric dispensing.

Range 1 to 5. Factory set at 3.
Recovery: Sets the titration sensibility:

Range 1 to 10. Factory set at 5.
Value 1:
Value 10:
Note: To modify this value could produce some errors on the titration.
• Power: Steam power factor: Range: 10 to 5. Factory set at 8.
Emp.col: This number sets the working time of the emptying
•
collector pump. This allows adjust increasing or decreasing it the exact
time for emptying the collector completely. Range: 1 to 5. Factory set
at 1.
LS: Tritation parameter. Range: 0 to 10. Factory set at 5.

Light: Tritation parameter. Range: 0 to 10. Factory set at 0.
•
Prn: Configurates the mode for data sending to printer or computer.
•
Not Continuous: (Default) Send data after press «PRINT».
