Water Sites
When searching for objects in water, the
pole of the locator can be submerged into
water up to just under the plastic housing.
Locating Near a Steel Fence
(Standard Mode)
When searching near a fence, reducing
the sensitivity will be required. Searching
near a chain-link fence requires positioning
the locator on the ground perpendicular
to the fence with the tip of the locator
pointing towards the fence.
The distance from the tip of the locator to
the fence should be maintained constant
during the search. Move the locator side
to side parallel to the fence.
The distance from the tip of the locator to
the fence can be increased or decreased
for subsequent searches but maintain a
constant distance while moving the locator
side to side. Once the object is located,
Water
pinpoint the object by slowly moving the
locator towards and away from the fence
to get the peak output.
