5.- OPERACIONES CON LA UNIDAD

1.- Extraer el panel frontal
• Pulse el botón RELEASE para extraer el panel frontal del chasis de la unidad. Cuando se extrae el panel frontal, un
indicador Led parpadeará.
2.- Encender y apagar la unidad
• Pulse el botón POWER para encender la unidad. Pulse y mantenga pulsado el botón POWER para apagar la unidad.
3.- Seleccionar el modo
• Pulse el botón MODE para cambiar la función de la unidad, la secuencia de cambio es la siguiente: RADIO – USB
(una vez insertado el dispositivo USB) – SD-MMC CARD READER (una vez insertada la tarjeta SD) – AUX. IN – BT
• Cuando no haya ningún dispositivo insertado tales como el USB y la tarjeta SD, este modo será omitido.
4.- Ajustar el volumen
• Durante una reproducción en curso, puede ajustar el volumen girando el potenciómetro.
5.- Enmudecer y restablecer el sonido de la unidad
• Pulse el botón MUTE para eliminar el sonido de la unidad inmediatamente durante una reproducción en curso.
Para restablecer el sonido puede girar el potenciómetro.
6.- Ajustes de sonido
• Pulse el botón SEL breve y repetidamente para seleccionar entre los modos VOL (Volumen) BASS, (sin DSP
predeterminado), TRE (Treble) (sin DSP predeterminado) BAL (Balance) y FAD (Fader).

• After selecting one of PTY programs, Press >>| or |<< button or pressing one of the 6 preset buttons briefly and
repeatedly to select your desired PTY program as described in preset buttons.
The 6 number buttons are shared as follows:
PTY music group
1. POP M, ROCK M
2. EASY M, LIGHT M
3. CLASSICS, OTHER M
4. JAZZ, COUNTRY
5. NATION M, OLDIES
6. FOLK M
• When turning on a PTY program, the "PTY SEEK" displays on the LCD all the time and "PTY" word flashes on the
LCD top. After selecting a desired PTY program and no operation for 2 seconds, it will search for the station of the
PTY program. During 1 loop, if the desired station of the PTY program is not found, "NO FOUND" is displayed, then
returns to previous radio station.
6.- AF [Alternative Frequency] function
• Press SEL button and hold for more than 2 seconds to turn on AF ON/OFF mode. The state of AF switching mode is
displayed by AF segment in display.
Segment off: AF switching mode off.
Segment on: AF switching mode on, and has RDS information.
Segment flashing: AF switching mode on, but RDS information is not received yet.
• When AF switching mode is selected, the radio checks the signal strength of AF all the time. The interval of
checking time of each AF depends on the signal strength of the current station, from a few minutes for strong
station to a few seconds for weak station.
• Every time that new AF is stronger than current station, it switches over to that frequency for a very short time,
and the NEW FREQUENCY is displayed for 1-2 seconds. Because the mute time of AF switching or checking time is
very short, it is almost inaudible in case of normal program. During FM mode, when AF is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO-
MEMORY function can only receive and save RDS program.
7.- TA [Traffic Announcement] function
• When TA mode is on (TA is displayed on LCD), it will begin to seek TA station and TA SEEK will be displayed on the
LCD .
When traffic announcement is transmitted:
i. If the unit is in SD, USB mode, it will switch to radio mode temporarily.
ii. If volume level is below 20, volume level is raised to 20, and returns to its previous mode and volume level
when the traffic announcement is over. If volume is adjusted during traffic announcement, only the traffic
announcement volume is valid.

6.- RADIO OPERATION

1.- Insert or pull SDE card or USB stick
• When needing to playback SD or USB music, insert SD card or USB stick into the card slot or USB socket, the
playing mode will be changed into SD or USB mode.
When SD card and USB stick are both inserted into the slot or socket, the playing mode will be changed into the
mode of the latter one and the play the first track of SD or USB.
2.- Select next or previous track to play
• Press o button to select next or previous track to play.
3.- Play fast forward or backward
• Press and hold or button to play fast forward or backward.
