Application
Alarm indicators are connected in parallel with automatic
fire detectors to provide repeat alarm signals.
– DJ1191 (Fig. 1) for mounting on door frames.
– DJ1192 (Fig. 2) for surface mounting with or without the
AI330 adapter frame (Fig. 7).
Installation DJ1191 on door frames
Holes in door frame see Fig. 3.
1. Up to 4 holes (ø max. 7.5 mm) may be drilled in the
door frame as required for cable entry.
2. Remove white cover plate (unlatching action).
3. Mount the base plate/lamp (Fig. 4) on the door frame
with 2 screws (ø max. 3 mm).
4. Connect up as described under connection diagram
(Fig. 6).
5. Replace white cover plate.
Installation DJ1192 surface mounted
1. Remove white cover plate by pressing black lugs.
2. Mount the base plate (Fig. 5) on the wall or a recess
box with 2 ... 4 screws (ø max. 4 mm).
3. Remove the lamp before mounting on recess boxes
with holes spaced at 60 mm.
4. Connect up as described under connection diagram
(Fig. 6).
5. Replace white cover plate.

Alarm indicators
AI330 adapter frame for DJ1192
1. Mount the adapter frame (Fig. 7, Fig. 8) on the wall or
box with 2 screws (ø max. 4 mm). The distance
between mounting holes can be chosen as required
according to the box used.
2. Mount the alarm indicator on the adapter frame with 2
wood or metal screws (ø max. 3 mm, 16 mm long).
Connecting leads (Fig. 9)
1. Plug-in connection for one lead 0.25 ... 1.5 mm
0.6 ... 1.3 mm ø.
2. Insulate leads approx. 7 ... 8 mm.
3. Insert wires in terminals.
4. In order to be able to connect smaller wires, or release
wires already connected, open the terminals by
inserting and pushing a screwdriver in the terminal slots
(screwdriver blade 0.35 ... 0.6 mm, DIN 5264).
