9. Light Kit Assembly (Optional). (cont.)
Remove 1 screw from underside of fitter
plate and partially loosen the other 2 screws.
Connect male plug from LED light kit to
female plug from motor housing, matching
up the colors on the male plug with the
colors on the female plug for correct fit. Be
sure that plugs connect securely.
Arrange wires carefully within fitter plate.
Align slotted holes in LED light kit with
loosened screws in fitter plate. Twist the LED
light kit to lock. Re-insert screw that was
previously removed and securely tighten all
3 screws.
Align grooves on glass shade with nodules
inside of LED light kit and push up gently on
glass shade. Twist glass shade to the RIGHT
(clockwise) until glass shade no longer turns.
Pull down VERY GENTLY on glass shade to
make sure that glass shade is secure.
If you do NOT wish to use the light kit,
3 small posts inside metal cover and align
with long grooves on edge of metal cover
plate. Push up on metal cover and turn to
the RIGHT (clockwise) until it slides
completely into place.
CAUTION: Do not install the LED light kit or
connect the male and female plugs if you do
NOT wish to use the light kit.
