Ruler Work Foot (QR)
Guide the foot along the quilting template (optional) to create straight, curved or repetitious patterns
depending on the shape of the quilting template.
The v-shaped gap in the foot enhances visibility.
Make sure to press the Lockout key when attaching and detaching the foot and threading the machine.
Do not lower the needle while the foot is raised, otherwise the needle clamp may hit the foot and cause
injury or breakage.

To Sew
Attach the ruler work foot (QR) when "Ruler
Work" is displayed as shown to the right.
Place the fabric under the ruler work foot.
Adjust the presser foot height to suit the quilt
thickness.
For ordinary and bulky quilts, select 2.5 (1) or (5)
for the foot height.
For flatter quilts, select 1.5 (2) or (6) for the foot
height.
You can make fine adjustments to the presser
foot height by
pressing the "+" (3) or "–" (4) key.
Place the quilting template on the edge of the
ruler work foot.
Sew while guiding the fabric and quilting template
together along the edge of the ruler work foot.
NOTE:
The quilting template (ruler) for ruler work sewing is required.
Use the quilting template (ruler) for high shank or longarm
quilting machines (4.5 mm - 6.35 mm thickness).
Caution
In the Quilting, VZZ, RW menu, press the Ruller Work key (1).
