Meets the requirements of European Standards for chemical protective
clothing.
2
Type 6: EN 13034:2005: Reduced Chemical Spray. Type 6 coveralls have
been tested to the Type 6 whole suit test. Type 6[PB] garments have
not been tested to this test
3
Type 5 : EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010 Dry Particle Protection. This suit
passes the requirement IL 82/90 ≤ 30% and TILS 8/10 ≤ 15%.
4
EN ISO 14116:2015 : Index 1 : Limited Flame Spread (NB Pyrolon®
Plus 2 does not meet tensile strength requirements).
5
EN 1073-2:2002 : Protection against radiation contaminated
particles (Class 1: Nominal protection factor >5<50).
NB: With Warning Triangle : Puncture is lower than Class 2.
6
EN 1149-1:2006 / EN 1149-5:2018 /2008 /2008 Electrostatic Properties :
garments treated on inside surface.
7
PB [6] : Partial Body Protection : Type 6.
Partial Body Garments: garments should be worn in conjunction with
other garments as an ensemble (such as a coverall with collar combined
with a separate hood, or jacket with trousers and separate hood) in order
to achieve full body Type 6 protection. The CleanMax® coverall with collar
meets the requirements of Type 6 when worn with a CleanMax® hood
and with additional taping to the join. Pyrolon fabrics meet the FR
requirements of EN 14116 Index 1. However, EN 14116 requires full body
covering: Partial Body garments do not cover the whole body.

[PB]
Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and EN ISO 13688 and manufactured under
•
ISO 9001 & Module D QC requirements
11
Selection of the appropriate garment is the users' responsibility.
Ensure garment is not damaged before use. Coveralls and Partial
• •
Body (PB) garments will protect only the parts of the body they cover.
12
Store in original sealed bags in normal conditions and away from
strong light. Expected shelf life of garments should be >10 years,
•
though electrostatic dissipative properties may erode over time.
13
Heat stress can result from working in garments with low
breathability fabrics; frequent rest is advised.
• • •
14
Garment testing is conducted with face, ankles and wrists sealed
with tape and with other PPE such as a face-mask, gloves and
boots. Garments should be used in conjunction with other selected
PPE and taping of joints and closures may be appropriate. Ensure
there are no gaps or folds in joins.
15
Uncontaminated garments can be disposed of normally.
Contaminated garments must be decontaminated or disposed of
according to local requirements.
16
Not suitable for use in extremely low temperatures (sub zero) or
temperatures higher than 100 degrees.
Electrostatic properties
17
Fabrics are treated to meet the requirements of EN 1149-1:2006
& EN 1149-5:2018/2008. EN 1149 is stated in ATEX and German
regulation TRBS 2153 (replacement for BGR 132) as the best
determination of suitability for protective clothing in explosive/oxygen
enriched or Zone 0 atmospheres. This does not imply garments are
suitable for use in all explosive atmospheres. A risk assessment should
2
3
2
be conducted by qualified personnel. In addition in any explosive
atmosphere:- electrostatic dissipative protective clothing is intended
1
2
2
to be worn in Zones 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22 (see EN 60079-10-1 and EN
1
3
3
60079-10-2) in which the minimum ignition energy of any explosive
atmosphere is not less than 0,016 mJ;
4
6

18
Garments should be worn correctly, fully closed and contact with
2/2
4/3
the skin maintained directly or through other anti-static PPE to allow
charge dissipation. The garment should fully cover any non-dissipative
2/1
3/2
clothing during normal use including when bending and moving.
Pass
For Pyrolon
is to wear the garment together with other anti-static PPE of which must
3
2
3
meet EN ISO 14116:2015 Index 2 or 3, to allow charge dissipation.
19
Wearer should be properly earthed / Do not adjust or remove in use,
clothing shall be worn in such a way that it permanently covers all non-
complying materials during normal use (including bending movements).
Any footwear or materials between the garment fabric and the floor
should have a resistance lower than 2.5 x10
dissipation.
20
Anti-static treatments may fade and may be affected by wear, tear,
contamination and laundering. Do not re-use.
21
Anti-static testing is conducted in relative humidity of 25% +/- 5%.
3/2
3/2
At lower humidities dissipative properties may be lower. The garment
passes the requirement Ljmn, 82/90 ≤30% and Ls, 8/10 ≤15%.
