Before any wiring ensure vessel or vehicle power and ignition is off - the battery or main power source may need to be disconnected. Consult your owner's manual for battery disconnecting procedures.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
All Aqualitz™ by Alpena® LED lighting products are designed to be
installed exclusively on 12V DC circuits. Marine electrical systems are
highly specialized and complex and therefore require caution - If you are
not confident in your ability to install this product, please consult a
licensed professional. Incorrect installation of any Aqualitz™ by Alpena®
LED lighting products may result in electrical problems that may result in
fire. Every product should be installed in a properly functional electrical
system – the manufacturer nor retailer is responsible for any damage,
personal or property and failure of this product due to improper
installation or the product's installation in a faulty circuit or electrical
environment. Any damage due to electrolysis is not covered under
warranty.
WARNING
Ensure mounting surface is properly cleaned and is absent of
water, oils, wax, sealant and other surface coatings.
Before permanently mounting to vessel, test fit to ensure optimal
beam pattern, height, and width and that wiring is long enough to
be safely installed and does not obstruct any operating functions
of the vessel. These lights should not be installed wherein
operation hinders the visibility of the driver or other drivers.
During operation lighting units can get hot - do not touch while
operational or within 30 minutes of powering down.
BE SURE TO USE SAFETY GLASSES AT ALL TIMES WHEN
INSTALLING THIS PRODUCT.

Ensure all wire connections are secure and safe - take care to seal
connections to prevent damage from the elements and to prevent
contact with any other wires or conductive surfaces

ATTACH MOUNTING BRACKETS AS SHOWN:
[ A ] SLIDE THE 2 OPEN ENDS OF THE BRACKET INTO PLACE IN THE OUTERMOST HEATSINK GAPS ON THE
REAR OF THE UNIT.
[ B ] SECURE THE BRACKET TO THE UNIT BY INSERTING THE NYLON LOCK NUTS INTO THE DESIGNATED
SLOT IN THE HEATSINK.
[ C ] INSERT BOLTS INTO SIDE OF UNIT ENSURING EACH BOLT SLIDES THROUGH THE BRACKET AND MATES
WITH THE NUT.
[ D ] TIGHTEN BOLTS.


LOCKING WASHER TO
ENSURE A SECURE FIT.
[ C ] TIGHTEN BOLT.

ATTACH POSITIVE WIRE SECURELY TO A 12V DC FUSED POWER SOURCE. EXTENSION OF THE WIRING MAY BE NECCESSARY. USE OF INCLUDED SPADE CONNECTORS
OPTIONAL. CAUTION: QUADFIRE DRAWS 1.5A AT 12V. ENSURE POWER SOURCE IS ADEQUATE.ENSURE PROPER MARINE WIRING PRACTICES ARE USED - WIRING

MOUNTING SURFACE
