- When troubleshooting is initiated please refer to #2 fault fl ow chart. The fault
should fi t into one of the four main groups:
System functionality
Sound
Radio
CD
Disassemble the product in order to gain access to the PCBs inside BeoSound 1.
- If possible then enter TM27 and check error 0. If the fault fl ow chart and TM27
indicate the same module, replace it.
See #3 Test mode for further information.
Otherwise it might be a good idea to look through the fault fl ow chart again to
make sure that the conclusion is correct.
- Make the replacement and then check if the fault has been corrected. If not, the
fault fl ow chart should be able to provide another suggestion of what to replace.
It may be neccesary to make measurements in the product when using the fault
fl ow chart.
When a voltage specifi cation is given in the fault fl ow chart, a value within ±10-20%
of this is OK. For measuring points see ➢ X on 10.1 Illustrations.
- When the fault has been corrected, remember to follow the guidelines in
#4 Theft protection,
#5 Adjustment after repair of BeoSound 1 and
#6 Test after repair of BeoSound 1.
