SYMPTOM
Light does not come
on.
Light does not turn
off.
Light comes on
randomly in AUTO
mode.
Light comes on in
the AUTO mode
without motion.
Light does not stay
on in AUTO mode.
Light does not come
on in AUTO mode
but works correctly
in the ON and OFF
positions.

TROUbLEShOOTING

POSSIbLE CAUSE
1. Circuit breaker or fuse is turned off.
2. If the lamp being controlled has an-
other switch, it may be turned off.
3. Bulb is burned out.
4. Mode switch is in the OFF position.
5. Poor connection.
6. Switch ground wire is not connected
to house ground.
7. Control may be wired wrong.
1. Mode switch is in the ON position.
2. Motion is still present.
3. Fixed time (5 minutes) has not yet
expired.
4. Control may be wired wrong.
1. Switch is being triggered by air vent
or other heat source.
2. Control may be wired wrong.
1. Mode switch has been turned off and
back on.
2. There was a momentary power inter-
ruption.
Motion has stopped in the room.
Control is not wired correctly.
1. Turn circuit breaker on.
2. Turn other switch on.
3. Replace light bulb.
4. Set switch to AUTO or ON.
5. Verify all wiring connections.
6. Connect switch ground wire to house
ground wire.
7. Verify wiring is correct, see Figure 3.
1. Set switch to AUTO or OFF.
2. Make sure there is no motion during
TIME control period.
3. Wait 5 minutes after all motion has
stopped for switch to turn off.
4. Verify wiring is correct, see Figure 3.
1. Determine the source triggering the
switch and alter air flow.
2. Verify wiring is correct, see Figure 3.
1. Control will function normally after
1 minute warm up period.
2. Control will function normally after
1 minute warm up period.
Continue movement.
WARNING: Turn power off at
the fuse or circuit breaker before
re-wiring.
Switch the black and brown sensor
wires and test again. See Figure 3.
