INSTALL SPARE TIRE
It is very important that you follow your
vehicle's owner's manual carefully to
properly replace the spare tire.
OPTIONAL OFFSET FEATURE
You may need to adjust
SpareTime offset to keep
bikes safely centered
behind vehicle.
INSTALL SPARETIME
Place your
SpareTime onto the
protruding mounting
bracket tongue.
Optional Lock Loop installation.
If you would like to
use the Lock Loop
to lock your bikes
to, install it now. It
can be installed as
shown, or rotated
180° so the loop
points downward.

Remove screws and washers
with provided wrench.
Thread the locking knob
through hole in SpareTime
LOCK LOOP
Tighten locking
knob completely.
WASHER
Adjust offset, and secure with bolts and
washers. Tighten to 22 ft-lbf (30 Nm).

Use the key to lock the knob. This helps
protects your SpareTime from theft.
NOTE: When knob is locked the
knob will turn, however, it is
disengaged and cannot tighten, or
loosen the SpareTime. Therefore to
tighten or loosen the knob it must
be in the unlocked position.
