TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE GUARANTEE
1. DURATION
The duration of the guarantee (mechanism and surface treatment) is set at 3-5-7 or1 0 years (see statement on the product packaging) with the
exception of colour surface treatments (white, black, grey...) whose guarantee is limited to a duration of 2 years.

The guarantee will only apply upon presentation of proof of
purchase.

Application of the guarantee will not result in extending its
duration
2. TERMS FOR APPLICATION OF THE GUARANTEE
The guarantee covers any problems encountered upon using the
product
for any events speci ed and not excluded by the guarantee, until
the
guarantee expires.
For coverage to be agreed under the guarantee, the product must
have
been installed in accordance with the current standards, and
must not have
been subject to any abnormal conditions of use such as:
• Poor maintenance, or maintenance not complying with
the recommendations enclosed under the section

"Cleaning and Maintenance" .

• Use of corrosive or abrasive cleaning products.
• Shock, breaking, or mishandling.
• Damage caused by foreign objects (sand, deposits,
etc.) channelled by water.
• Deteriorating products following an episode of frost.
• Intended for home use only.

The duration of guarantee starts as of the date of purchase of
the product (date stated on the proof of purchase, receipt or
invoice).
ATTENTION :

• The following list is non-exhaustive; for a list of incidents
"likely to call upon the guarantee" and those that could "void
the guarantee", please refer to the section titled «Guarantee
& Incidents» of your product manual.
• The guarantee is limited to the restoration or replacement of
the part known to be defective or preventing the equipment
from working
properly, with an identical part (moving and/or consumable
part covered with a 2 years guarantee), or exchange of the
product.
• Under no circumstance shall the guarantee cover call-out
costs nor direct or indirect damages. It does not cover either
costs of removal and reinstallation of the product subject to
guarantee unless done under the legal requirement of the
hidden defects guarantee.

- Fissures
- Cracks
- Distortion
- Microscopic leaks
Finish defects ............. - Chrome nish defects
- Silk screen printing defect, scratches, pits, dye defects
(Noted within 4 weeks of purchase)
EXCLUSIONS FROM THE GUARANTEE
• Ceramic cartridges
> Scraping or seizing.
Check the outlet temperature of your hot water production
equipment.
An outlet temperature above 70°C will quickly have an adverse
e ect upon the original greasing.
> Scale build-up
Find out how hard your water is.
Water that is too hard will cause accelerated furring to cartridges
and moving parts and damage seals more quickly.
For hard and very hard water, t a water treatment system.
Ask your store.
> Presence of foreign bodies
(sand/ sludge/ deposits, etc.)
Bleed your system before connecting the product to the water supply.
Install an anti-sludge ltration kit.
• Inverter
> Blockages or breakages due to scale buildup
Frequent use of moving parts (inverter, lever, etc.) will help maintain
optimum functionality and reduce risk of incidents.
• Aerator
> Scale buildup
• Slider
> Misuse, excessive tightening.

• Thermostatic cartridges and regulation systems (graduated bus bar)
> Seizing/ Blocking
Frequent use of moving parts (inverter, lever, etc.) will help maintain
optimum functionality and reduce risk of incidents.
Check the outlet temperature of your hot water production equipment. An
outlet temperature above 70° will have an adverse e ect on the original
greasing.
> Poor regulation
Poor pressure balance.
Check the temperature calibration.
Hot water production system not suitable for thermostatic use. Invert arrivals
of hot water and cold water.
• Washers
> Cut, Pierced, Damaged
Seals are parts subject to wear. We recommend replacing them periodically.
Do not tighten them too much upon assembly.
• Tap body
> Scratches
Use of inappropriate tools during assembly or maintenance. Use of incorrect
maintenance tools not recommended
• Shower head
> Shattering or breakage caused by a shock.
• Flexible tubing
> Pierced, torn or unwound
