Appendix: Access Control feature
iP Access with Telephone Keypad, has the feature of access control, through entrance
code dialing, up to 999 users.
NOTE: This feature described below corresponds to the stand alone feature,not depending
of external data base.
When user wants to enter, dials, as first key (from idle situation), password prefix's key,
then it's user no., and, finally, his access password.
• Password prefix : * or # (according to settings)
In the examples we will use * (asterisk)
• User no. : 1, 2 or 3 digits (according to setting of the element Digits qty for access
control user in submenu:
In the examples 2 digits will be used: UU
• Password: 4 digits CCCC
Administrator's factory password is: 1234
User no. 0 ((00 o 000, according digits quantity set) corresponds to administrator, who
doesn't enter but make actions as registering, erasing and modifcations of users.
Registering of new users and/or password change
Administrator dials: * 00 CCCC 1 UU NNNN
Where CCCC is administrator's password, UU new user no. (or who wants to change it's
password) and NNNN is new user password.
NOTE 1: If dials UU = 00, administrator can change it's own password
NOTE 2: If user chooses his own password, is more pollied, that administrator doesn't look
the dialed password
Erasing of users
Administrator dials: * 00 CCCC 2 UU
Where CCCC is administrator's password and UU is the number of user to be deleted
