General standards
CAUTION
• This tool is designed to operate with
screws. IT IS NOT A DRILL.
• Do not try to modify in any way the tool or its
accessories.

• Use only screwdriver bits
recommended by
• Keep the screwdriver bits in good working condition. It
reduces load on the tool and increases its useful life.

Before operating the screwdriver
• Take your time to assess the job to be done.
Double-check all the necessary caution measures are being
observed before starting to work.
WARNING
• Adjust correctly the bit to the bit
holder.
DANGER
• Before fitting screws into a wall, floor or
ceiling verify there are not embedded objects like cabling,
power lines or pipes.
• Verify the switch is in the OFF position (see page 7 start
up and operation control section) before plugging in the
tool. Otherwise the tool might unexpectedly star running
causing severe injuries.
• Turn off and disconnect the tool before
CAUTION
reversing the bit rotation. Do likewise before installing or
replacing bits.
When operating the screwdriver
• Hold the tool by the insulated surfaces designed for this
purpose. The holder could wiring or with its own power
cord. Making contact with a power cord causes the tool
metal parts get electrified and may result in electric shock
to the user.
• Do not subject the tool to excessive efforts.
• Refrain from setting the tool immediately after using
where there are particles and/or dust. Debris may be
absorbed into the tool mechanism and be damaged.
