MAINTENANCE
BELT LUBRICATION
Treadmill lubrication helps maintain performance and prolongs
equipment life.
The treadmill has been lubricated with silicone oil before
leaving the factory. You only have to spread oil again when
you notice that the resistance has increased and the treadmill
starts rubbing against the running platform.
To apply lubricant:
1.
Raise the edge of the treadmill so that the running surface is exposed.
2.
Place several drops of lubricant along the center of the running surface.
3.
Wait a few minutes before using the tape for the silicone oil to set.
4.
Run on the treadmill at low speed for 3 to 5 minutes to evenly distribute the lubricant.
NOTE: Do not over-lubricate. Clean excess lubricant from treadmill. - Only use silicone oil.
TAPE ALIGNMENT AND TENSION ADJUSTMENT
The treadmill is preset to the running platform at the factory, but after prolonged use it may become loose and may
require re-tensioning. To adjust the treadmill, turn on the main power switch on the equipment and let the treadmill run
at a speed of 3 km/h. Use the Allen key provided to turn the rear roller adjustment bolts to center the belt.
If the treadmill is moving to the left, turn the left adjustment screw to the right, the treadmill should start to correct (1).
If the treadmill is moving to the right, turn the right adjusting screw to the left and the treadmill should begin to correct
(2). Keep the treadmill running until the running surface is well centered.
1
If the running surface slips during exercise, with the Allen key provided, turn the left and right rear roller adjusting
screws clockwise or counterclockwise (3 and 4), then turn the main power switch back on and operate the equipment.
Run over the treadmill to determine if the treadmill is still slipping. Repeat this procedure until the treadmill no longer
slips.
