EN – Installation Manual
Proper use
The sealing plug for single-pipe systems may
only be used at multiple-layer compact radia-
tors.
The sealing plug is suitable for single-pipe
valves with immersion-pipe Ø 11–11.5 mm.
Any other use is improper and is therefore pro-
hibited.
Safety precautions
Read this manual thoroughly before instal-
►
lation in order to avoid malfunctions and/
or reduced performance of the radiator
through improper installation.
Always store and transport the sealing plug
►
in a protective packaging in order to avoid
an untight connection caused by mechani-
cal damage to the sealing plug.
Disposal
Take the packaging and parts not required
►
to a recycling centre or authorised waste
management facility. Observe the local
regulations.
Installation
►
Lay out tools (Fig. 1).
Put installation wrench onto sealing plug
►
in correct position and as far as it will go
(Fig. 2).
Check at single-pipe valve whether supply
►
and return line of heating medium pass via
immersion pipe (see manufacturer's infor-
mation).
Observe installation position of sealing
►
plug with installation wrench:
–
Handle strip horizontal (Fig. a/b)
–
For return line via immersion pipe: Ar-
row points to rear/middle heater plate
(Fig. a)
–
For supply line via immersion pipe: Arrow
points to front heater plate (Fig. b)
►
Insert sealing plug into connection thread
of radiator (Fig. a/b):
–
Compress divider disc slightly
–
Push in sealing plug as far as it will go,
while moving it slightly to-and-fro

–
Handle strip horizontal
Pull out installation wrench (Fig. 4).
►
Cut immersion pipe to Length X (Fig. 5):
►
X = (22 mm – A) ±1 mm
A = desired screw-in depth of screw-in noz-
zle = max. 14 mm
Debur immersion pipe.
►
Ensure that the immersion pipe is not dam-
►
aged or deformed.
Wet the immersion pipe well to avoid subse-
►
quent twisting of the sealing plug (Fig. 6).
Screw the screw-in nozzle tight into the
►
connection thread of the radiator with the
desired screw-in depth A. Observe the max.
screw-in depth into the connection thread:
14 mm.
Screw single-pipe valve and screw-in nozzle
►
together.
Connect single-pipe valve to the piping
►
system (see single-pipe valve installation
manual).
