Remove lower fascia – use T20, T30 driver to remove (4) screws at bottom fascia and (3) screws inside wheel well (each side), as shown in Figure 2.

Remove bumper – use 13mm socket to remove (2) screws on driver side and (4) screws on passenger side. Return bumper and screws to customer.
3.
Raise the hitch into position and insert the brackets into frame rails opening, as shown in Figure 3.

Feed the carriage bolt ① and spacer ② through frame rails opening using the pull wires ⑤. Pull the wires through slots on the bracket first and then holes on frame rails, as shown in Figure 4. Remove
pull wires and loosely install conical washer ③ and hex nut ④ to the hitch.

Tighten all 7/16'' GR5 fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft. (68 N*M)
Proper torque is needed to keep the hitch secure to the vehicle when towing.
6.
Locate center line of lower fascia and trim 3.5'' tall and 3.5'' wide area, beginning from slot opening in fascia as shown in Figure 5.
7.
Reinstall the screws and fascia removed in Step 1. Double check if the trim area is enough to avoid interference between fascia and hitch. Make additional trimming if needed.
Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or
ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.
