Operating Instructions:
Thermostat control
1. Turn the power control to the "0" position and connect the unit to the power supply.
2. The following settings can be made with the power control:

Cool Air
Heating with 1000W
Heating with 2000W
3. Use the thermostatic control to adjust the strength. To warm up the room quickly, turn the thermostat to
the maximum in the "+" direction and the power control to the "II" position. As soon as the room reaches
a comfortable temperature, turn the thermostat in the "-" direction until the heating is interrupted. The
unit will now automatically turn the heating on and off to maintain the temperature.
4. The device has an oscillation function. To switch it on or off, please press the switch on the stand base.
5. Before switching off, please let the unit run in the cool air position for approx. 30 seconds and then turn
the power control to "0". Please remove the unit from the power supply.
Overheat protection:
This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of
overheat,e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 30
minutes for it to cool and remove the object which is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described
above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer
service.
Safety system:
In the event of abnormal overheating, a safety device shuts down the appliance automatically. After a short
cooling down phase, the appliance is ready for use again.
If you still notice the same defect as above mentioned, remove the plug from the socket and consult your
authorized dealer to your after-sales service department.
During use, do not touch or cover the air outlet. This may cause the unit to overheat, and the safety device
to operate.
The unit is also fitted with a tip over switch which switches off the appliance when it falls over.
