This device has been thought only for indoor use.
This product should not be installed in places where it is likely that there is flammable steam or explosive dust,
neither at stables or other similar flammable places. In case of doubt ask the firefighters.
This device must be repaired by the manufacturer or a qualified electrician.
It is not intended to be used by physically or mentally handicapped persons, neither inexperienced, unless
someone responsible for security would have monitored and given instructions on the device.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
The unit should not be wet while running on AC power.
Use only the parts listed in this manual.

INSTALLATION
Check the contents.
This device has been thought only for indoor use.

Select the most suitable place for the location of the insect exterminator, preferably in a dark place away from

other lighting devices or the sunlight. It is recommended to allocate it in the middle of the area to be protected.

USE
For a proper functioning of the device it must be switched on 24 hours a day, since the insect are mainly
caught during the night.
The device must be unplugged from the network when performing any maintenance or cleaning.
MAINTENANCE
The device must be unplugged from the network when performing any maintenance.
For substituting the lamp, first of all unplug the unit from the electrical network. Release the extreme clips and
pull the lamp until it is disconnected. Then insert the lamp in the clips and press until it is connected. Change
the lamps every six months. Use only Fricosmos parts compatible with this model. . Get rid of the used lamps
at a green point.
For replacing the start choke, firstly unplug the unit from the electrical network. Disengage the front part and
remove it. . Then rotate the start choke counterclockwise and pull from it. Get rid of the removed piece accor-
dingly to the legislation. Once changed, replace the front part.
For substituting the trap, remove the used one. Then slip the spare one and fit it in the flap at the lower part of
the front. Do not forget to pull back the protection sticker. Change the trap once a month or when is covered
with insects.
If the cable gets damaged, the whole set of cable–plug must be replaced. You can´t replace only the cable.
CLEANING
Clean the unit regularly. The device must be unplugged from the network when performing any cleaning.
Use only water and mild soap. Rub with a soft cloth. The insect exterminator must be completely dry before
connecting it to the electrical network.
Do not use acids or harsh detergents. Do not scrub it with a scouring pad, a spatula, a knife or any sharp or
pointed object.
