Installation Procedure

The following procedure explains how to install three sheet feeders on the Phaser 5335.
1. Switch the power off by pressing the power
switch located on the front lower right of the
printer to the <O> position.
Unplug the power cord from the power
outlet and the printer.
2. Place the bottom sheet feeder to be
installed on a flat surface and where you
want to install the printer. If installing only
one sheet feeder, proceed to Step 8.
3. Align the corners of the top and bottom
sheet feeders. Gently place the top sheet
feeder on the bottom sheet feeder, placing
the holes on the underside of the top sheet
feeder over the three pins on the bottom
sheet feeder.
4. Slowly pull out the tray of the top sheet
feeder until it stops. Hold the tray with both
hands, lift it up slightly, and then pull it out
completely.
5. Insert the four clips (supplied) into the two
slots on the inner and back sides of the
sheet feeder as shown in the figure. Firmly
push in the clips to secure the top sheet
feeder to the bottom sheet feeder.
