The corner model is only available with the backrest on the left,
while the rectangular models can be supplied with the backrest
on the left or right. The Left-Right version may be identified by
standing in front of the bath opposite the control panel.
On the "J-Sha" rectangular models, to facilitate any technical
operations on the devices comprising the dorsal/lumbar system,
Jacuzzi Europe recommends that the side panel (included) is
installed on the backrest side, together with the front panel
(also included). On request, another side panel can be supplied
which can be installed on the opposite side. In all "J-Sha" mod-
els, given that the space below the bath is limited, ensure that a
super-low siphon is fitted, or remove a floor tile.
For the water connections, it is recommended that there are
two 1/2" male connectors rising from the floor, under the taps,
in the position marked with the symbol
diagram (ref.

). During the installation, these outlets can be
connected to the mixer with two flexible male-female pipes.
For the electrical connections, refer to the "General Instruc-
tions" section.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Jacuzzi
whirlpool baths are safe appliances constructed to
comply with the EN 60335.2.60 regulations and are approved
by the Italian Quality Trademark Institute (IMQ) and other
European institutes. All the products are tested during pro-
duction to guarantee the customer's safety.
The installation must be carried out by qualified persons who
must be able to guarantee compliance with the current
national regulations and who must also be authorised to issue
the confirmation that the installation has been carried out
correctly. Jacuzzi
whirlpool baths are class "I" appliances and
must therefore be securely located and connected in a perma-
nent manner, without intermediate junctions, to the electrical
supply and the protection system (earthing plant).
THE ELECTRICAL AND EARTHING PLANT FOR THE APPLIANCE
MUST BE EFFICIENT AND IN CONFORMITY WITH THE LEGAL
REQUIREMENTS AND THE SPECIFIC NATIONAL REGULATIONS.
The connection to the electricity supply requires the installa-
tion of an omnipolar isolation switch which must be located
in a suitable position to ensure that the bathroom safety regu-
lations are respected. This omnipolar switch must guarantee
that the contacts remain open at least 3 mm and be suitable
for voltages of 220-240 V and a current of up to 16 A.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATIONS, THE SWITCH AND
OTHER ELECTRICAL DEVICES MUST BE LOCATED IN AN AREA
WHICH CANNOT BE REACHED BY THE PERSON WHO IS IN THE
WHIRLPOOL BATH.
