Dismantling and disposal of materials may also
be entrusted to third parties, provided that com-
panies who are authorised to recover and dispose
of the materials in question are always used.
Always follow the regulations in force in the
country in which the appliance is being used for
disposal of materials and possibly for the disposal
report.
3.2 Transportation
Make sure that the lifting carriage has a
payload higher than the weight of the
appliance to be lifted. The full responsi-
bility of the lifting of loads lies with the
person handling the lifting equipment.
Ensure wood or timber floors are prop-
erly protected in order to prevent the
weight of the appliance from damag-
ing them during movement.
During lifting, avoid jerking or abrupt movements.
Pay attention to overbalancing.
3.3 check the support surface
Check the load capacity of the floor slab.
In the event of a floor not suitable for support-
ing the weight of the appliance, install suitable
steel plates (A - Fig. 3) or concrete base (A - Fig.
4)
equipped
with
mesh (b - Fig. 4) to distribute the weight.
For the dimensions of the plates and
of the concrete base, use a qualified
technician.
It is advisable to install the appliance at a height
of approximately 40-50 cm from the floor to the
fire bed to facilitate its use.
To level the appliance, use the dedicated ad-
justment screws located under the feet of the
appliance.

4.1 General considerations

efficiency of the product purchased and to
ensure safe operation. The following instructions
are nevertheless subject to compliance with any
national, regional and municipal laws and regu-
lations in force in the country where the product
