PRECAUTIONS:
• DO NOT dissassemble the instrument.
• DO NOT bump any part of the instrument.
• After use, clean the interchangeable rod/washer, etc., apply a coat of
anti-corrosive oil to them, and store them in their original containers.
• Use only the supplied interchangeable rod/washer, sub-anvils, and
other accessories. DO NOT use them with other instruments.
INSTALLING THE DIAL INDICATOR:
• Set the dial indicator by inserting its spindle in the holder so that the
indicator reads at least 0.3mm (or more depending on the indicator
being used). Secure the dial indicator with the clamp screw. See
Figure 1.
ATTACHING THE LIMIT HAND:
• Where limit hands are provided use them as neccessary.

• To install the limit hand, hook it on the lower bezel and push it until it
clicks in place.
• To remove, force it open. See Figure 2.
SETTING THE MEASURING DIMENSION:
• For the required measuring dimension select the appropriate inter-
chageable rod, interchangeable washers, and sub anvils and set
them on the main unit. See Figure 3.
• If performing a measurement with the interchangeable rod,
interchangeable washers and sub anvils assembled, use a
minumum number of each.
