The KTM dongle function for the 1290 Super Duke R is not homologated
In the 1290 Super Duke, one of 3 ABS functions can be selected.
- Road ABS mode (ABS lamp off):
The ABS function is active on the front and rear wheels (two-channel ABS).
- SUP MOT ABS mode (fl ashing ABS lamp):
The ABS function is only active on the front wheel (one-channel ABS). The rear wheel can be blocked at any time with-
out ABS controlling the braking procedure.
-Off ABS mode (permanently lit ABS lamp):
The ABS function is switched off. The front wheel and rear wheel can be blocked at any time without the ABS controlling
the braking procedure.

With a connected KTM dongle and an active SUP MOT ABS mode:
After the ignition is switched off and on, the ABS mode stored last remains active. The system does not auto-
matically change to the Road ABS mode.
Scope of supply:
1x dongle

1x retaining bracket

1x collar screw M5x10 ISA30
1x hex nut DIN 985

Preliminary work:
- Remove the passenger seat.
- Remove the driver's seat.
Assembly:
- Position the retaining bracket
- Mount with the screw and nut (included) and tighten.

- Slide the dongle (included) onto the retaining bracket and

thread the cable forward under the lock carrier.
