5.2 The various methods of formula weighing
The PS7 provides several methods of formula weighing. Each method of formula weighing comprises:
– A formula weighing mode:
STD STD
STD STD" standard formula weighing: In this mode the desired quantity of a component is weighed and confirmed.

If an incorrect quantity is dispensed, before the next component is weighed, the actual target weight of the
incorrectly weighed component must be entered. The error is automatically taken into account when subsequent
components are weighed.
ADV ADV
ADV ADV" advanced formula weighing: In this mode the target weight of a component is first entered. The

subsequent components are weighed.
– A display type:
ABS ABS" absolute display: displays the absolute weight of a component. ABS
