Part 3 - Installing the Inner Reel
1. Pass the two line ends through the eyelets in the outer spool
(Fig. 32).
2. Place the spring inside the inner reel (Fig. 32).
3. Insert the inner reel into the outer spool (Fig. 32). Push the inner
reel and outer spool together.
4. While holding the inner reel and outer spool together, firmly pull
the two line ends to release them from the holding slots.
5. While holding the inner reel and outer spool together, screw the
bump knob on counterclockwise (Fig. 26). Tighten the bump
knob securely.
MAINTAINING THE BLADE
WARNING:
Do not sharpen the blade. Sharpening the
blade can cause the blade tip to break off while in use.
This can result in severe personal injury.
The blade has a second cutting edge. If the blade becomes dull,
remove the blade, turn it upside down and reinstall the blade. If both
sides are dull, replace the blade. Refer to Removing the Blade and
Installing the Blade in the Assembly section.
