Place top on bottom, being sure to line up top and
bottom so that all four lock cams go through the
bottom shell openings.
Lock only one side of the cargo carrier before positioning it on the cross rails. Depending
on which side you prefer to load the cargo carrier. Place the two opposite side locks into
the locked position which will now become the locked hinge side.

Set cross rails at 24" on center.*
*Cross rails on some vehicles are not adjustable and may require additional holes drilled into the bottom of the cargo carrier to match
the fixed position width. If this is the case, attach the cargo carrier to the rear cross rails first, using the pre-drilled holes. Then drill holes
in the front of the cargo carrier using the mounting back plate (C) as a template for the hole positions. Drill marks are 2" apart and pre-
drilled to 24" on center. Use drill marks for your application.
Be sure to align the mounting holes in the box
bottom on each side of the cross rails.
