Heron (A6804, A6805) Ceiling Fan Light Kit Installation Instructions
NOTE: Ceiling fan light kits are only meant to be used with ceiling fans. Do NOT install as a light fixture.
NOTE: Installation shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70-1999 and local codes.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan/light kit with any solid-state speed control device.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, or injury to persons, unplug or disconnect the appliance from the power
supply before cleaning, user maintenance and servicing.
CAUTION
Turning off wall switch is not sufficient. To reduce the
risk of fire and electrical shock, be sure electricity is
turned off at the main fuse box to the fan before installing
the light kit.
1. Remove the cover-switch housing
assembly from the motor assembly by
removing the three screws. Retain the
screws for Step 8.

4. Assemble the supporter assembly and
light housing assembly to the cover-switch
housing assembly using the previously
removed hex and washer.
7. Connect the 9-pin connectors from the
cover-switch housing assembly to the
9-pin connectors from motor assembly.

2. Unplug the 9-pin connectors from the
cover-switch housing assembly and
motor assembly.

5. Connect the 2 single-pin connector from
the light housing assembly to 2 single-pin
connector from the cover-switch housing
assembly.
8. Reassemble the the cover-switch housing
assembly to the motor assembly using the
previously removed screws in Step 1.
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, this kight kit
should be used only with the Fan Models Heron.
3. Remove the hex nut, washer and threaded
plug from the cover-switch housing
assembly. Retain the hex nut and washer
for next step.

6. Thread the pull chains through the holes
of the supporter assembly and cut off
excess pull chains.
9. Loosen the three screws of the light
housing assembly.
