8. Cleaning and Care
Disconnect the mains adapter from the socket before cleaning.
Clean the product using a slightly moist cloth.
Open the lid and empty the container into an appropriate garbage can.
Caution! Make sure that the vacuumed ash has completely cooled down.
Remove the filter from the appliance and empty the dust compartment.

8.1 Cleaning the filter unit

Remove the filter protection bag from the filter and remove the filter unit from
the appliance. Then clean all the parts of the filter unit using a brush. If a lot of
dirt has accumulated, clean it using a vacuum cleaner.
Note: You can rinse the filter using cold or lukewarm water if needed. Dry the filter
thoroughly before replacing it in the filter unit!
Then mount the filter back on the lid and reattach the filter protection bag over
the filter.
9. Emptying the container
The vacuuming capacity is reduced if the container of the appliance is full.
Open the two locks on the motor unit (3) and then remove the lid from the
container (5).
Empty the contents of the container into an appropriate garbage can.
Caution! Make sure that the contents of the container have cooled down com-
pletely.
