6.6. Set the temperature that you select, and then press 'preheat'. The tester alarms
when the temperature is constant. Fill the cylinder after the alarm.
6.7. Material Filling and Loading
After the tester reaches a constant temperature, take the piston down and fill about
4 grams specimen into the cylinder with the filling funnel. Compress it with the packing
rod. The filling should be finished in a short time. Put the piston back in the cylinder After
3.5 to 4 min, load the removable weights on the plate of the load rod.
6.8 Whatever the cut method is, weight the sections up respectively and input the values
to obtain the test result and print the result report.
6.9 Take the die out through the packing rod after the test and clean the die, the piston
and the cylinder with the cotton cloth. Use the drill to poke out the left material and then
clean the hole of the die.

Cautions

7.1 Single phase power must be reliably grounded.
7.2 After confirming the results, the instrument is still at constant temperature; the tester
can do the experiment continuously as well as re-input the parameters.
7.3 You should switch off the power if you don't need to use the instrument already.
7.4 The user can't uninstall the instrument optionally.
7.5 The instrument should be in the environment that has no strong electromagnetic
disturb.
7.6 The cylinder, the piston, the die should keep clean, no collision, no scoring, the
cylinder can't be cleaned by the non-designated tools. After a period of usage, use
high-level detergent to clean the outside of cylinder and the piston.
7.7 If you can't take the die out, you can take the cylinder out of the instrument, and then
use the bolt to poke the die out.
7.8 The cleaning work is easy to be done under high temperature. But at the moment
please be more careful not to get burnt.
7.9 If the cylinder, the piston rod or the die has too much abrasion, the test result will be
inaccurate. And you can order the parts in time from our company.
7.10 If the instrument is in disorder, restart the power.

Appendix

8.1 Dry the specimens with kinds of shapes, such as grain, bar, slice and mould and so
forth, before the test in accordance with the plastic type requirements. Weight the
specimen referring to the Fig. a as following.
