damage. Do not move the
appliance by application of
pressure to the surface.
43. Do not apply excessive
pressure to the glass to
prevent it from breaking.
44. Important! Allow the appliance
to stand upright for at least 2
hours before connecting it to a
mains outlet for the first time, so
that the refrigerant can settle.
Electrical safety
1. Ensure the rated voltage
shown on the rating label
corresponds with the voltage
of the power supply.
2. Do not operate any appliance
with a damaged power
cord or plug, when the
appliance malfunctions or has
been damaged in any manner.
3. Protect the power cord against
damages. Do not let it hang
over sharp edges, do not
squeeze or bend it. Keep
the power cord away from
hot surfaces and ensure that
nobody can trip over it.
4. Do not insert fingers or foreign
objects in any opening of the
appliance and do not obstruct
the air vents.
5. Protect the appliance against
heat. Do not place close to
heat sources such as stoves
or heating appliances.
3. After use
Cleaning
Switch off and unplug the appliance before
cleaning or maintenance.
Do not clean the appliance with steel wool,
strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive or toxic
agents, as they may damage the surface of the
appliance and pose a health hazard.
During cleaning, do not approach sharp
elements (evaporator, condenser, etc.) that
could cause cutting injuries bare-handed.
Always use protective gloves.
Use little or no water during cleaning. Make
sure that no water enters the appliance while
cleaning it.
Wipe the outside of the appliance with a dry
and soft cloth daily. If the appliance is very dirty,
wipe with a soft damp cloth and a little mild
detergent. Dry with a soft dry cloth.
Clean the internal basin at least once a
month. First perform a manual defrost cycle
(
Defrosting) . Then wipe the basin with an
antibacterial detergent. Dry with a soft dry cloth.
To improve performance, clean the condenser
(behind the ventilation opening) every week
using a soft brush or the nozzle of a vacuum
cleaner.
The appliance may only be used again or stored
after it is dried completely.
Defrosting
The appliance will defrost itself automatically
every 6 hours. The water does not need to be
removed.
You can also start a manual defrost process by
keeping the defrost button
than 5 seconds.
Storage
Before storing, remove all foodstuffs from the
appliance, disconnect it from the supply and
clean appliance and accessories thoroughly.
Store the appliance in a dry, protected
environment, preferably at room temperature.
4. Troubleshooting
WARNING!
In case of failures or malfunctions, always
unplug the appliance immediately.
Only perform the steps described in this
instruction manual! All further inspection,
maintenance and repair work must be
performed by an authorized service center or a
similarly qualified specialist.
Should you require spare parts, always obtain
them from an authorized seller. Do not use
spare parts that are not recommended by the
manufacturer!
