Example:
The CO2 set is set at 670 ppm.
The CO2 +/- is set at 40 ppm.
The current CO2 value in the room is for example
733 ppm, which is higher than the CO2 set, so the
CO2-source is switched off . The red light is now
off .
The CO2 value now slowly drops to 670: nothing
happens.
Only if the value drops below CO2 set minus CO2
+/-, which in this case is at
670 – 40 = 630 , the source will switch on and the
red light will turn on as well.
The CO2 value now rises and when the value of
670 is reached, the source will be switched off
again.
By adjusting the CO2 +/- a stable atmosphere can
be obtained.
Default factory settings are CO2 set at 700,
CO2 +/- at 50.
Meaning of the LED
Light detected: light indicator (under PTB)
OK: LED is green if the CO2 value is between (set
+ hysteresis) and (set - hysteresis).
CO2: LED is on when CO2 is emitted (if the CO2
heater/source is on).
Operating and adjusting the T-1 Pro:
All settings are done with the Push & Turn Button
(PTB). By pushing the button you will enter the
set-up menu. An arrow will appear on the left side
of the display =>.
When switching on the TechGrow T-1 Pro the
display will read:
TechGrow
T-1
Pro-Series
Software v. 1.X
The calibration menu is shown after a few
seconds:
CO2 calibration
Continue?
Yes
=> No
You can read more about these menus further
on in the manual.
After a few seconds the start screen is shown:
CO2 =
456
CO2 set
700
CO2 +/-
50
Min
412
Max
Here you can see all data relevant to the T-1 Pro
at a glance.
By keeping the PTB pressed down in this startup
screen for at least fi ve seconds, the CO2 min/max
values are reset and set to the current
measurement value.
Enter the menu by briefl y pushing the button:
=> TMP = 25.5 C
RH = 32 %
CO2 = 539 ppm
This naturally only shows the values of connected
sensors.
Without connecting an S-2 or S-4, the CO2 value
will not be shown.
By rotating the PTB in the setup menu, you can
place the arrow in front of the various sensor
values. Press the PTB once to fi nd out more
about this specifi c sensor.
Only the min/max values are indicated for "TMP"
and "RH" sensors:
Line 1: The minimum measured value of the
connected sensor.
Line 2: The maximum measured value of the
connected sensor.
Line 3: The min/max values are reset back to the
current measured values of the connected sensor.
Line 4: << BACK <<
These measurements will not be saved during
power outages.
For CO2, more information is provided:
=> CO2 set
700 ppm
CO2 +/-
50 ppm
>> NEXT >>
Here you can set the set-point and hysteresis for
the desired CO2 concentration.
