Rotate the battery door to "OPEN" and install the battery in the unit according to the indicated polarity. Close
the battery compartment again and turn the unit on by pressing the [0] button. Place the cup on the scale and
check if the display reads 0 gr. (or oz.). Go to calibration if the scale does not read 0 gr. To ensure an accurate
measurement we advise to do this check every time you use the scale. Hold the [0] button for 3 seconds to
turn off the unit, or wait for 5 minutes until the scale automatically goes to idle.
CALIBRATION

checking the weight of an empty cup. If the display reads more than 0 you have to calibrate the scale.
1)
Ensure the cup is empty.
2)
Turn on the unit.
3) Make sure the cup is placed steadily on a flat surface. Hold [0] for 6 seconds until "CAL" flashes. Do not
touch or move the cup when "CAL" is flashing.
The display will read "0" when the calibration is completed.
