The transducer surface is frangible and must be handled with care. Wipe off any remaining gel after
use. These precautions will prolong the service life.
Before each use, the operator shall ensure the equipment has no visible damage that could risk
patient safety or the equipment operability.
Please, perform the following maintenance to ensure proper functioning:
- Visual inspection
- Proper cleaning of the unit and it's accessories
- Check the battery fuel gauge
- Test the device performance

4.2 Recommended maintenance and care

Carefully inspect the equipment and accessories before installation, once every 12 months and befo-
re each service.
- Check the equipment may not have visible physical damage.
- Inspect all external connections for loose or frayed connectors.
- Inspect the graphic displays for marks, scratches or other damages.
- Verify the safety label is clearly legible.

service. If necessary, the product will have to be sent back to us for reparation.

4.3 Equipment and accessories cleaning

Please follow these instructions to clean the product exterior surfaces and batteries:
- Isopropyl alcohol (70% solution in water)
- Mild soap and water
- Sodium hypochlorite (3% solution in water)
- Quaternary ammonium compounds (such as Lysol) (10% solution in water)
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or strong solvents such as acetone-based cleaners.
- Do not mix disinfectant solutions (such as bleach and ammonia).
- Do not clean connectors with bleach.

4.4 Cleaning instructions

- Before cleaning, turn the device off and disconnect from the mains.
- Before applying disinfectant solution, remove all adherent soil (fluids, tissue, etc.), and wipe tho-
roughly with water.
