1. Using the Product as Intended

This turnout mechanism is designed for installation in the
20611, 20612, 20671, and 20672 turnouts, the turnouts from
the 24900, 24902, 24903, 24904, and 24905 track extension
sets and the turnouts from the starter sets in the Start up
assortment from Märklin.

2. Safety Notes

Read through the operating instructions carefully before
using this mechanism for the first time.
• IMPORTANT! Not suitable for children under 3 years.
Sharp edges and points required for operation. Danger
of choking due to detachable small parts that may be
swallowed. Misuse of the switched mode power pack
can cause an electrical shock.
• This product may only be used indoors.
• Do not store this product in direct sunlight or exposed to
extremes of temperature or to high humidity.
• Use only switched mode power supply units that are
designed for your local power system.
• This product may only be used in conjunction with
the 66360/66361/66365/66367 switched mode power
pack, a feeder track with a 4-pin socket such as the
253391/322979 base station, and the 72752 control box.
• The switched mode power pack is not a toy. It is used to
supply current to a model railroad layout.
• Make sure you inspect the condition of the switched
power pack and its connections to the wall outlet for

damage at regular intervals (depending on how often the
switched power pack is used to play with the train), at
least once a week. This must be done with the switched
power pack unplugged from the wall outlet. If you have
the slightest suspicion that there is damage, the switched
power pack may not be used again until it has been
checked and repaired by the Märklin Repair Department).

3. Important Notes

• The operating instructions are a component part of the
product and must therefore be kept in a safe place as
well as included with the product, if the latter is given to
someone else.
• Please see your authorized Märklin dealer for repairs.
