If the model of your appliance does not have the
accessories described above, they can also be
bought separately from the Technical Assistance
Service.
USE AND CARE:
- Fully extend the appliance's power cable before
each use.
- Do not cover the cooking surface or food with
aluminium foil and other similar materials.
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains when
not in use and before undertaking any cleaning
task.
- Store this appliance out of reach of children
and/or persons with physical, sensory or
reduced mental or lack of experience and
knowledge.
- Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.
- Do not store or transport the appliance if it is
still hot.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all products' packaging has
been removed.
- Before using the product for the first time, clean
the parts that will come into contact with food in
the manner described in the cleaning section.
- Some parts of the appliance have been lightly
greased. Consequently, the first time the ap-
pliance is used a light smoke may be detected.
After a short time, this smoke will disappear.
USE:
- Extend the cable completely before plugging
it in.
- Move the hinge (J) to unlock the device.
- Lightly grease the plates with a little butter.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the time control knob (F) and set the
minutes you want.
- The pilot light (G) will light up.
- Turn the control knob (E) to the desired posi-
tion.
- The pilot light (H) will light up when the desired
temperature has been reached.
- Open the griddle, put the meat, the sandwich
or the food you want to cook on the lower
cooking plate.
- Lower the handle.
- When the food is to your liking, remove it from
the appliance with the help of a wooden spat-
ula or similar that is resistant to heat. Do not
use utensils that could damage the non-stick
coating.
- Once the selected time has elapsed, the device
will stop automatically. You will hear an acous-
tic signal and the indicator lights will turn off.
USE AS OPEN GRILL. (FIG. 1):
- The top plate/cover is flush with the bottom
plate/base. The upper and lower plates align to
create a large cooking surface.
- With one hand on the handle, use the other
hand to press the button (K) opening 180º, and
push the handle backwards

TIMER FUNCTION:
- The appliance's operating time can be con-
trolled.
