3. MEASuRING ThE CuTTING WIdTh (SEE
FIG. F)
When making cut outs, it is desirable to know
exactly where the cut will start and stop to prevent
unsightly over cutting. Indication numbers, which
correspond to the depth setting, is marked on the
Length of Cut Indicator (16). If you need, please
put the Length of Cut Indicator to the Mounting
Slots for Parallel Guide(10), and tighten the
Parallel Guide Clamping Screw(11) to fix it.
a) Mark the area to be cut out on the material to
be cut..
b) Press down on the saw, keeping the front of
the base flat against the workpiece as you slowly
push the saw's blade into the workpiece
c) Identify the blade is between the place to be
cut.
d) The free hand help to keep the base firmly
touching to the material surface to be cut,
then switch on, and depress the guard release
button to make the plunge cutting, and on the
meanwhile, see the cutting depth to the number
you want to cut.

4. SETTING ThE CuTTING dEPTh (SEE FIG.
G1, G2)
a) Unlock the Depth of Cut Indicator (5). Slide the
Depth of Cut Indicator to the desired depth of cut.
Tighten the Depth of Cut Lock Lever (6).
b) When cutting wood or plastics, the depth of cut
should be set to slightly greater than the thickness
of the material for best results., or just set to the
deepest to cut.
c) When cutting metals, the depth of cut should
be set to approximately 1.0mm greater than the
material thickness for best result.
