Before cleaning or maintaining the ice maker, turn off and unplug the appliance
and remove the ice cubes.
Draining the appliance
1. Move the ice maker forward
55 mm until the drain hole is clear
of the base on which the appliance
is installed and is accessible (refer
to the figure on the right).
2. Unscrew the drain plug and allow
the water to drain completely,
without turning the appliance
upside down.
3. Replace the drain plug.
Cleaning the circuit
The circuit must be cleaned regularly or whenever the cleaning required
indicator light
comes on.
1. After draining (see chapter "Draining the appliance"), fill the tank with clean
water and press and hold the button
light
flashes.
2. Press the button
. The pump starts running for 6 minutes.
3. Once the cleaning cycle is complete, unscrew the drain plug and let the
water drain completely. Replace the drain plug.
Cleaning the appliance
Clean the ice maker, its internal cavity and components (including sensors)
•
regularly, at least once a week, with a damp cloth and a mild cleaning
solution. White vinegar is recommended.

or solvent-based cleaners. Rinse ice
maker thoroughly before using again.
During cleaning or when the cleaning

essential to clean the "ice cube tray"
sensor (see figure on the right). A
white film (limescale) builds up on the
sensor and impairs its function. Clean
the sensor with a cloth or a soft bristle
brush with clean drinking water
only.
If not used for a long period
Remove the plug to drain the remaining water. Replace the plug once the

water has completely drained.
Leave the lid open to prevent mould and bacteria from growing.
