Important Information
DO NOT look at the light
from your SteriShoe®
ultraviolet shoe sanitizer
when it is turned on; it emits
UV light which can be
harmful to eyes and skin. You
can tell when the SteriShoe® shoe sanitizer light is on
because the on/off button will be glowing solid purple.
If the on/off button is flashing, an error has occurred.
The SteriShoe® shoe sanitizer has built-in safety
features to reduce the likelihood of accidental
exposure to the UV lamp. An error is most likely
due to the activation of a safety feature. See the
troubleshooting section for more information.
LAMP CONTAINS MERCURY (Hg). The lamp contains
a tiny metal ball which you may hear inside the lamp.
This is normal; the lamp is not broken. Since mercury
is toxic please dispose of the lamp in accordance with
local disposal laws. For more information, see:
www.lamprecycle.org/res-statelaws.shtml .
