2. Cycles
Up to 8 phases can be set in one disinfection cycle, the phases being
composed of:
Phase 01 - RINSE (up to 3 successive rinses can be programmed in
this phase);
Phase 02 – WASHING;
Phase 03 – RINSE (up to 3 successive rinses can be programmed in
this phase);
Phase 04 – WASHING;
Phase 05 – RINSE (up to 3 successive rinses can be programmed in
this phase);
Phase 06 – DISINFECTION;
Phase 07 – UMECTATION (can be used as final rinse);
Phase 08 – DRYING.
The equipment is programmed with 6 default cycles that can be used
or modified according to the use as follows:
Cycle 1: Instrumental;
Cycle 2: Anesthesia;
Cycle 3: Plastics;
Cycle 4: Short cycle (for laboratory);
Cycle 5: Long cycle (for laboratory);
Cycle 6: High Level Disinfection.

4. Operation
Turn on the Baumer washer-disinfector by positioning
Turn on the Baumer washer-disinfector by positioning
the On / Off switch (3) in the On (I) position. After the
control system initialization, the SPLASH SCREEN will be
displayed on the HMI.
In the SPLASH SCREEN an introduction to the equipment
is displayed.
Wait for 5 seconds or tap the screen to load the HOME
SCREEN with the equipment access menus.
In the ACCESS CONTROL screen press on the blank field,
located in front of the text USER NAME. An alpha-nume-
ric keypad will be enabled.
For more information about user password, user
registration and user password usage check the
Instruction for Use.
Fill in the User name using the alpha-numeric keypad
and confirm by pressing the ENT key. Press in the blank
field, located in front of the text PASSWORD. An
alpha-numeric keypad will be enabled, enter the user's
password and confirm by pressing ENT. By pressing OK
the screen ENABLE PRINTER will be displayed.
On the ENABLE PRINTER screen it is possible to enable
or disable the print function and determine the print
range from 1 to 999 seconds.
After adjusting these settings, press CONFIRM.
On the DISINFECTION PROGRAM SELECTION screen,
enter the number of the desired cycle.
Up to 30 programs can be saved and accessed. After
defining which cycle to use, press RETURN, enter the
cycle reference number and press CONFIRM.
On the LOAD CODE SCREEN it is possible to enter a load
description using up to 10 alphanumeric characters,
which will be printed.
Press in the blank field, located below the text LOAD
CODE. An alpha-numeric keypad will be enabled. Type
the desired load code. Press ENT and then CONFIRM.
Note: It is not mandatory to fill in the load code.
By the HOME SCREEN all the menus can be accessed:

SELECT PROGRAM
CONFIG
LIGHT
With the equipment door opened, load the materials to
be disinfected. If the door is closed press the CLOSED
LOADING DOOR icon to open it.
Press the OPENED LOADING DOOR icon to close the door.
When closing the door, the gasket will be inflated,
completing the door sealing. Likewise, the door opening
option deflates the gasket, unlocking the door and
performing its descent into the open position.
