Disassembly
(Fig. A / D / E)
1. Unplug the mains plug.
2. Keep the cutting head a in
a fixed position and open
the cutting head cover b by
turning clockwise (as shown
in Fig. D).
3. Take out the reel c.
Remove any remaining line.
Note:
(Fig. E)
If the pressure spring d is loose
you can fix it in the reel c to
facilitate assembly. To do this,
insert the pressure spring d
into the reel c and secure by
turning clockwise.
9. Troubleshooting
General
Faults usually only occur if you
do not operate, care for and
maintain your lawnmower
properly. The following table
contains the most common faults
and remedies to rectify these
faults. If you encounter any other
faults, please contact your
closest service centre authorised

Assembly
(Fig. C / E / F / G)
1. (Fig. E) Insert the replacement
line (6m) into the slot of
the reel partition so that two
equal lengths (2 x 3 m) hang
out.
2. (Fig. E) First wind the upper
line a then the lower line b
clockwise onto the reel.
Note:
(Fig. F)
Wind both lines evenly and
firmly. Fix approx. 10 cm of
each of the line ends in the slits
of the reel marked with Ø 2
opposite each other.
3. (Fig. G) Thread the line ends
outwards through the eyelets
of the cutting head a.
Note:
When inserting the line ends,
make sure that the slits with the
fixed lines are exactly behind
the eyelets.
4. Insert the reel and pull both
line ends at the same time
until they have noticeably
come out of the slits.
5. (Fig. G) Press the reel c down
onto the spring d and secure
the cutting head cover b by
turning it anticlockwise as far
as it will go.

functions properly, press
down the cutting head cover
9 and pull both lines at the
same time. If the unit is
operating properly both lines
will lengthen. If the cutting
lines are too long, they will
be automatically adjusted
to the correct length by the
line limiter blade 10 when
you operate your Strimmer.
Turn the Electric Strimmer to the
normal working position before
switching it on.
Service
Danger of damage to equip-
ment: never clean electrical
equipment under running water,
in particular, do not use water
under high pressure on it.
Ensure that the ventilation
slits 13 in the motor casing
never become obstructed
by dirt.
Remove grass clippings and dirt
from the safety cover 11 after
every use using a dry cloth or
brush.
Storage
We recommend hanging storage
to avoid unnecessary stress on
the cutting head.
