MRF...positioning jigs and accessories facilitate accurate drilling in rail of holes with predefined centres
namely using Cembre drilling machines (Ref. Fig. 1 page 7):

Assembly:
a) Select the SR.... template kit according to the rail to be drilled and the required hole centre height (H)
(see table page 10).
b) Assemble the SR templates on to the SR-SKI support, fixing with the M6x22 screws supplied (Ref. Fig.
3 and 4); locating pins on the support will ensure correct positioning.
c) Assemble the support on to the the front plate of the drilling machine, centre it by the pins and tighten
it by the 2 screws M6x25 supplied with the drilling machine (Ref. Fig. 5).
d) Position the jig in the required place on the rail head and lock it by the handle clamps (Ref. Fig. 6).
e) When locking the jig align, if necessary, the appropriate centre line on the jig with a reference mark on
the rail head (Ref. Fig. 7). Should it be necessary during the drilling phase to move the jig, exact repo-
sitioning can be achieved via the reference mark on the rail head.
NOTE: When positioning the drill on the seat close to the handle clamps, pull and turn them to ensure they do
not impede the locking or operation of the drilling machine.
To drill 2 holes with centres of 145 mm (Ref. Figs. 1 and 8):
f) Position the drilling machine to the jig, inserting the upper parts (A) of the SR-SKI (Ref. Fig. 2) into the
seat of the MRF.. jig (POSITION
g) Proceed with the drilling operation.
h) After drilling, locate the drilling machine in the appropriate place (POSITION
operation.
To drill 2 holes with centres of 270 mm (Ref. Figs. 1 and 8):
Proceed as per points f, g, h, referring respectively to POSITIONS
To drill 3 holes with centres of 148 mm (Ref. Figs. 1 and 8):
Proceed as per points f, g, h, referring respectively to POSITIONS
ATTENTION: when work is completed, remove the jig from the rail.
To disassemble SR... Template from the SR-SKI support, remove screws, insert a flat blade screwdriver into
the aperture (s) on the support and lever it off (ref. Fig. 9).
