REMOVING BATTERIES

• This appliance contains a built-in battery, which must be removed prior to disposal of the
appliance� Only do this at the end of the product lifecycle�
• Open the main unit only to dispose of the battery�
• Take care when opening the main unit, short-circuits must be avoided�
• Do not open the battery as there is a danger of a short-circuit; irritant vapors or caustic
liquids may also escape�
• Do not expose the battery to strong sunlight, heat or fire as there is a risk of explosion.

Possible cause/solution
- Recharge the battery�
- Is the collecting container full?
Empty it�
- Is the filter heavily clogged up?
Clean it�
- Is the suction opening blocked?
Switch off the appliance and remove the blockage�
- It is also possible that some items are too big/heavy to be picked
up by the appliance�
- Check whether the collecting container, insert and filter are
inserted correctly and adjust the fitting if necessary.
- Is the charger plugged in the wall outlet correctly, and also
connected to the appliance?
- Check the fuse of your wall outlet�
- Clean the scraper lip of the window attachment�
- Turn over a worn scraper lip: Pull the scraper lip sideways out of
its holder, moisten with water or cleaning agent in the rounded
area and slide back into the holder the other way round�
- Replace the scraper lip if necessary�
- Check the metering of the cleaning agent�
