Option A
1. Press and hold the wireless streaming button on your sound processor for
about three seconds.
2. An audible melody or a flashing light (depending on the type of sound
processor) will be followed by streamed audio via the Cochlear Mini
Microphone.
Option B

Press the streaming button on a Cochlear Baha Remote Control. For more
information, refer to the Remote Control manual.
Start streaming on a 2nd or 3rd Cochlear Mini
Microphone unit
If your sound processor is paired with more than one streaming device, you
can start streaming in two ways.
Option A
Press and hold the wireless streaming button on your sound processor for
about three seconds a 2nd or 3rd time to access the 2nd or 3rd Cochlear
streaming device.

Press the streaming button on a Cochlear Remote Control a 2nd or 3rd time
to access the 2nd or 3rd Cochlear streaming device.
The Cochlear streaming device(s) are indicated by the letters A, B or C, and the
streaming device in use is shown on the Remote Control display.
Stop streaming
Turn Mini Microphone off.
Briefly press the streaming button on your sound processor. This will cancel
streaming and return to the last program used.
To stop streaming with the Cochlear Baha Remote Control press the "P"
button, located in the center of the key pad.
If you are using the telephone with Cochlear Phone Clip, streaming from
the Cochlear Mini Microphone will be temporarily disrupted. When you
have ended your phone call, streaming will resume.
Note: If you move out of your Cochlear Mini Microphone range (>7m)
but return within the range before 5 minutes have passed, your sound
processor will automatically reconnect and continue streaming.
Wearing Your Cochlear Mini Microphone
Clip your Cochlear Mini Microphone on the speaker's clothing, placing it 10-
20 cm from the speaker's mouth.
Light Indicator (LED)
The Light indicator on your Cochlear Mini Microphone provides information
on the status of your device.
LED blinking pattern /Meaning
Normal operation, green light
Battery low, yellow light
LED blinking pattern /Meaning
Charging, red light
Fully charged -still connected to charger, red and green light
Pairing in channel 1, yellow light
Pairing in channel 2, yellow light
Pairing in channel 3, yellow light
Using the Line-in
The Line-in feature can be used to stream audio signals from most auxiliary
audio devices through the Cochlear Mini Microphone's line input directly to
your sound processor.

1. Insert the included cable into the line-in socket on the Cochlear Mini
Microphone.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the AUDIO OUT socket on the audio
device that you want to stream from.
Note: When using the Cochlear Mini Microphone with a TV, the TV's
headphone socket is usually located on the side or front. When using the
headphone socket on the TV, usually only the person wearing the sound
processor will hear the sound and the TV speakers will be muted. Your TV
may support simultaneous use of speakers and headphones, check your
TV manual for instructions.

Volume Control

You can adjust the volume of the streamed signal in three different ways.
Option A

Adjust the volume of the streamed signal to a comfortable level by using the
"+" and "-" keys.
Option B
Use the Remote Control to adjust streaming volume in the sound processor.
Option C
The volume can in some cases be further adjusted at the signal source, for
example by turning the TV down.
Note: When using the Mini Microphone as a microphone the most recent
volume setting will be stored. When using the line-in, the volume setting
will revert to the default level when the Mini Microphone is turned off and
on again to avoid an uncomfortably loud initial sound level when used
with different audio sources.
Important Information
Maintenance and Care
Clean the Cochlear Mini Microphone using a damp cloth. Never use
household cleaning products (washing powder, soap, etc.) or alcohol to
clean the device.
When the Cochlear Mini Microphone is not in use, turn it off and store it
safely.
